Before you commit
Horsepower, rig type and condition are the seller's description. Get component hours in writing, a line-item list of what is included, and your own third-party inspection before funds move. A rig that is already in Texas still needs rig-down, permitted loads and rig-up costed to your location.
Moving a rig out of the state or out of the country raises its own steps. Moving a used drilling rig across borders covers export paperwork, freight and who handles each part.
